Prospect Homework Documents
The prospect Homework Documents provided by DesignAlign include:
- Kitchen or Bath Needs Assessment Survey
- Measuring & Photographing Your Kitchen or Bath
The purpose of these documents is to allow your prospective client to provide you with basic information for a successful DesignAlign Investment Analysis meeting.
Here is an explanation of each document:
Kitchen or Bathroom Needs Assessment Survey
- This survey is not a formal kitchen or bath design survey.
- Your prospect's answers to the questions provided will help you populate the DesignAlign Investment Template to calculate the unique investment range for their kitchen or bathroom project.
- We have purposely kept the survey short so your prospect can quickly and easily provide you with the answers.
- Once your prospect is qualified as a client, you will transition them into your formal design process where you would ask more detailed questions about their project.
Measuring & Photographing Your Kitchen or Bathroom
- This document has been developed to keep things simple for your prospect.
- The measurements and pictures they will gather will provide you with the basic information you need to complete an Investment Analysis with your prospect.
- This information is not meant to be a professional measurement.
- Knowing the basic shape of their kitchen or bath, and the overall size of the space is all you need to get started.
- A few pictures or a quick video from your prospect will help you fill in the gaps.
Creating Homework Documents
You can create these documents when you set up the Opportunity for the prospect. Once you are in the Opportunity page:
- Click attachments at the bottom left to open the Attachments window.
- In the Attachments window click the NEW + button in the top right of the center pane.
- In the Type dropdown, select Opportunity Forms.
- In the Name dropdown, select the appropriate Homework document.
The purpose of this exercise is to keep things simple and not discourage your prospect. Once you have converted your prospect to a client, you would conduct a professional measurement of the space, document the space with pictures, and then proceed with the formal design.
Use these documents to start the process and let your prospect know that the next step will be getting into the details.
