How do I create a Retainer Agreement?
- Once you are finished editing the Investment Analysis Template, use the Up arrow ↑ at the bottom left or scroll back to the top of the page and click the VALIDATE button to verify all categories with quantities have a Price Level selection. The program will automatically guide you to any categories missing a Price Level selection.
- Now that the template has been verified, you'll notice a pop-up on the top right to CREATE RETAINER. Click this button to take you to the New Document page.
- In the Type dropdown, select "Investment."
- In the Name dropdown, choose the desired Retainer Agreement format.
The Retainer Agreement preview will open in another tab (you may need to disable the pop-up blocker). From here you can download to your device to print or email to the prospect.
You also have the option of exporting the Investment Analysis if the prospect would like to review that before proceeding to the Retainer Agreement. For this option:
- Select "Investment" again from the Type dropdown.
- Select "Investment Analysis Selections."
Again, this preview will open in another browser tab for you to download and print or email to the prospect.
You can always go back and find these documents under the attachments link within the Contact, Opportunity, or Investment pages.
