What to Do if the Prospect Declines to Go Forward

You can’t win them all. We know that you will have clients you are unable to close for varying reasons. These could be due to postponing the job until the future or not being a financial match for what you offer.  To keep your Dashboard analytics accurate, you’ll want to update this accordingly. To accomplish this:

  1. Click on Opportunity from the left-hand menu and locate the Opportunity you wish to update.

  2. Click on CHANGE STATUS… and select the proper status.

    1. Disqualified – possibly they were not financially a match for your services.

    2. Lost – they went with another competitor.

    3. Future – They are putting this on hold for now, but may return to it another time.
